Forus for Poster is an integration that connects active Forus check-ins with Poster POS receipts. By installing the application, the merchant authorizes the integration to access the required Poster API scopes and to store configuration needed for POS operation.

Merchant responsibility

The merchant is responsible for entering the correct Forus place_id, checking the guest name before applying a discount, and verifying that discounts comply with their Forus agreement and internal rules.

Availability

The integration includes retry queues and recovery checks, but availability depends on Poster, Forus, internet connectivity, and the merchant's POS environment.

Limitations

The integration does not replace accounting, tax, or fiscalization systems. It reports the actually paid amount to Forus after a Poster receipt is closed.
