Forus for Poster processes only the data required to connect Forus check-ins with Poster POS receipts and to report completed transactions to Forus.

Data processed

The integration may process Poster account identifiers, venue and terminal identifiers, access tokens issued by Poster, Forus check-in identifiers, payment references, discount values, receipt identifiers, paid amounts, timestamps, and technical logs required for retries and diagnostics.

Purpose

Data is used to show active Forus check-ins on Poster POS, apply the selected discount, store an audit trail, retry failed reports, and send the actually paid receipt amount to Forus after payment.

Storage and security

Tokens and transaction records are stored on the integration server. Access is restricted by account-specific tokens, HTTPS, rate limits, SQLite storage permissions, and server-side validation against active Forus check-ins and closed Poster transactions.

Retention

Operational logs and transaction records are retained only as long as needed for support, audit, retries, and troubleshooting, unless a longer period is required by law or a customer agreement.
